Hey ,

I want to acknowledge that for many of us the holidays are HARD.
Whether we are navigating toxic family dynamics, grief or
political division, for many of us the holidays are rarely simply
much less happy.

Here are some of the things I've been practicing so that I can
show up in truth and love when its messy:

* RESOURCE YOURSELF: if you want to show up as the most authentic
version of yourself, you must make sure you are resourced first.
That will allow you to respond to whatever feelings and
frustrations arise with the capacity for courage and compassion.
* SPEAK TRUTH: Many of us are conditioned to withhold our truth
in order to keep the peace and/or avoid conflict. But when we
withhold our truth, we withhold vulnerability, love, and
possibility. Speaking from the heart is a radical act of
generosity.
* LISTEN FOR UNDERSTANDING: Showing up is not a one way
street but a practice of reciprocity. Consider engaging with
curiosity and compassion. Try to listen for what the other person
might need or value that is informing their position.
* PRACTICE BOUNDARIES: Family visits can often trigger time
travel and old conditioning. Practicing boundaries is knowing
that we don't have to be all in all the time. Rather we have
agency to lean in, listen for what we need and leave if
necessary.
* LEAVE ROOM FOR WONDER: This is perhaps the most important
practice for me right now...it is leaving room for wonder and joy
- even and especially when I am vulnerable. Here is one of my
favorite Mary Oliver poems to inspire you 👇

NEW YEAR'S RETREAT:

There are only a few spots left for our New Year's Retreat in
Mazunte, Mexico. This year, especially, we are a designing an
embodied journey of detox and recovery, reflection
and design, rest and adventure, and more to support your
transition into the new year with power and precision.

✨ Dates: December 28, 2024 - January 2, 2025
✨ Location: El Triángulo, Mazunte, Mexico

Retreats are always a reflection of what is happening and what is
needed. This retreat is no exception. Over the course of 5
nights/6days, we will create the space for radical reflection,
rest and nourishment, embodied healing and forward change.
Our journey will offer:

* Dynamic Movement Practices: Release tension and awaken your
body’s wisdom. 🌊
* Radical Reflection: Engage in deep self-inquiry with support
from the group and individual coaching. 🧠
* Nature Exploration: Discover the stunning surroundings through
activities like surfing lessons, whale watching, and mountain
hiking. 🏞️
* Shared Meals & Collective Rituals: Connect with others over
delicious, locally sourced meals and meaningful rituals. 🍽️

A space for radical inquiry and change

Our retreat space and environment is intentionally designed to
hold us in our healing and bring us back into balance. Supported
by comfortable accommodations, locally sourced nourishment,
access to nature and dynamic transformational practices, we will
untangle ourselves from whatever is no longer serving us so that
we can open up to the potential within us and all around us.
