Hi John,
Filing week is over, and the race has shaped up: it’s me vs. Derek Kilmer vs. 4 Republicans.
Can you chip in with $7 now, so I can raise the money I need to beat them? I'm $6,902 short of reaching this week's goal.
So far, only 1 of the Republicans has any real public presence, so all I can say as of now is that my opponents are:
What do I mean by a Trump-enabling Democrat? Well, my Democratic opponent Derek Kilmer:
Voted yes on the USMCA, Trump’s NAFTA 2.0 trade deal, thus handing Trump a major political victory in the midst of his impeachment.
Voted yes on Trump’s two-year budget, about which Trump tweeted: "House Republicans should support the TWO YEAR BUDGET AGREEMENT."
Voted to repeal the medical device tax that was part of Obamacare. This tax would have raised $23.9 billion in revenue over the next 10 years, and Trump has been attacking it since 2013.
What do you need Republicans for when you have Democrats like Derek Kilmer?
I had a budget and fundraising meeting with my team yesterday, including a veteran fundraiser from presidential campaigns, and I’m going to need to raise a LOT more money to win this race.
Yes, I’ve already raised more money than all of Kilmer’s opponents (from any party) in the last three cycles combined, but Derek Kilmer also has $3.5 million cash on hand, much of that from corporate PACs and lobbyists.
I still need to raise $6,902 more this weekend to hit our goal, so my Field Director has the budget they need to win. Can you chip in $7 now to help me reach my goal before midnight tomorrow?
Let’s not make this election a choice between a Trumper and a Trump enabler. Help WA-06 get REAL change in 2020:
