Friends,

Gerry was on CNN, and he didn’t hold back about Trump’s dangerous new tariff plan for Canada and Mexico.

Trump’s idea? Throw a wrench into the largest trade market in the world — $1.5 trillion in goods — with reckless tariffs that aren’t even targeted. Gerry called it exactly what it is: a crude and unsophisticated weapon that will hurt American businesses, workers, and families.

Here’s the kicker: Trump is violating his own treaty, the USMCA, which he once bragged was “the best deal ever.” So, if it’s so great, why is he now trying to destroy it?

Gerry also warned about the inevitable retaliation from Canada and Mexico — our closest trading partners — which will make this even worse for our economy.
