Greg here, and I am excited to share some good news with you! The Stewardship Utah Foundation (sister organization to Stewardship Utah that handles community organizing and advocacy) has been selected as the Subaru Loves the Earth Partner [[link removed]] for Mark Miller Subaru’s Share the Love Event [[link removed]] , happening now through January 2nd! This means that for each car sold, leased, or pre-ordered at Mark Miller’s South Towne [[link removed]] and Midtown [[link removed]] locations, customers can choose to give $500 to support our work!
This is a major opportunity for the Stewardship Utah Foundation. Not only because of the generosity of Mark Miller and Subaru of America, but also through your support and theirs we can invest even further into communities across Utah. Your contribution of $500 through the purchase of a Subaru at a Mark Miller dealership goes a long way. That $500 is the cost of one civic engagement training in San Juan County, or allows us to gather 446 petitions to protect public lands [[link removed]] and deliver physical copies to legislators, or gives us the resources to bring four rural folks to Capital Hill to participate in the legislative process. We are honored to have partnered with Mark Miller throughout 2024 and bring our work to new communities across Utah. Together, we have been able to do some incredible things and spread the word about our work to protect the land, air, and water for all people in Utah.

For over two decades, Subaru has been committed to leaving a legacy of protecting and conserving the earth for future generations. Along with its retailers across the country, Subaru works to reduce waste, conserve resources, and preserve natural spaces, all values shared by the Stewardship Utah Foundation as we work to defend public lands from threats by the legislature, pass policies that help clean our air, and work with agencies to develop solutions to increase water in the Great Salt Lake.
The Share the Love event is a Subaru of America program that has sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities and organizations that strive to better our communities by donating $250 for every car sold. During the Share the Love Event, Mark Miller Subaru has gone the extra mile and will match Subaru’s $250 donation, bringing the total to $500 for each car sold!
