Hello from St. Paul,
This week, Minnesota House Republican Leader Lisa Demuth appointed me as Republican chairman of the Minnesota House Ways and Means Committee. This is the committee responsible for creating the state budget in the House, and for setting how much money each of the finance committees can spend.
I am very pleased to receive this appointment and look forward to approving fiscal proposals that benefit all Minnesotans, not just a select few.
Too many of our residents are now struggling thanks to choices made by an all-Democrat controlled state government, so it’s time to restore some balance and common sense to our decision making.
Thanksgiving Day is almost here! It is my hope that you will be able to gather with family and friends on Thursday and enjoy the holiday.
