Hello,

The United States Postal Service’s Deputy Postmaster General was just forced out of his job because he wouldn’t toe the Trump party line.

The former leading USPS official, Ronald Stroman, had been a staunch advocate for vote-by-mail -- something experts say is now key to protecting voter safety and election integrity.

But now Stroman is gone, and Trump has tapped a top donor and RNC fundraiser to head the agency. Amid reports that Republicans seek to either force the USPS to raise its prices, privatize the agency, or allow it to go bankrupt, House Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi have suggested a much-needed $25 billion in emergency funding for the Postal Service.

Republicans have vowed the legislation is dead on arrival.

Thank you,
The WDTO Team
