He refused to let Dr. Fauci testify about the pandemic response in front of the House of Representatives, saying it was full of “Trump haters.” Trump also removed Glenn Fine, the federal watchdog tasked with overseeing relief spending.
But now, there’s a new sheriff in town: Maxine Waters, who Nancy Pelosi just appointed to a new House panel tasked with overseeing the administration’s crisis response.
According to Fox News, House Minority Leader and Republican Kevin McCarthy is fuming. As for Maxine Waters? She just revealed that she has lost her sister to coronavirus -- and has made clear she won’t be letting Trump and Republicans off the hook any time soon.
