Dear John,
Even amidst the most challenging times, we can make progress.
That’s especially true for our littlest learners, where investments in early childhood education can transform lives for generations.
Research proves it: children who experience quality early learning programs are 25% more likely to graduate high school and four times more likely to complete a college degree.
This year, Start Early's impact reflects our commitment to making good on the promise of early investments in our littlest learners, both with direct on-the-ground results and impact on the early childhood learning and care system.
Direct On-The-Ground ResultsThanks to your support Start Early is proud to have:
-
Served over 3,300 children through Head Start and home visiting programs
-
Supported 4,000+ children through the Educare Network
-
Connected 214 families to mental health services and 59 families to stable housing
Systemic ImpactAlong with providing this direct service to children and parents on the ground, we also advocated for significant investments to help families who need it most, including:
-
Secured $1.52 billion in new early childhood funding nationwide
-
Advanced legislation expanding access to maternal care services
-
Reached educators in all 50 states, with 76% reporting enhanced teaching practices
Quality early learning breaks the cycle of poverty across generations. When we invest in children, parents do better, children do better and their future children do better too.
Stay tuned for our full Year in Review this January to learn more about the wins we have had over the past year!
Together, we're building lasting change that will benefit families for decades to come.
Thank you,
Start Early
P.S. Every dollar invested in early childhood yields transformative returns for society. Your support helps ensure more families can access these life-changing programs. |
