TAKE ACTION
Dear John,
World leaders—including key US officials—are in Busan, Republic of Korea, right now for the fifth and final round of talks to secure a global treaty to end plastic pollution. This treaty could be a gamechanger for our plastic-choked planet—if countries follow through and adopt an ambitious, powerful agreement.
However, with only a few more days remaining, some countries are pushing to water down the content of the treaty. We're asking President Biden to be bold in this critical moment and stay committed to a global treaty that can end the plastic pollution crisis.
On Sunday, WWF delivered nearly 2.9 million names from around the world in support of an ambitious treaty. We need to continue to amplify the support for a global plastic treaty that meets the scale of the crisis, and the US must have the courage to push for it.

An ambitious solution is what we need to take on the plastic pollution crisis, and at this moment, it's within our reach. Let President Biden know: the world needs the US to step up and hold the line on an ambitious, binding, and transformational treaty to end plastic pollution.
Thanks for your commitment to stopping plastic pollution,
Sara
