Hi John,

It’s been a hard year and a tiring one. Things haven’t all gone our way, and we have some really big fights looming ahead of us.

Even still, I’m feeling incredibly grateful at the moment.

I’m thankful to be home with my family, spending time with the kids and looking forward to good food and good football tomorrow. And I’m thankful to have seen the very best of North Carolina over these past few months.

I saw thousands and thousands of North Carolinians give their time, money, and energy to build a better future for us all. North Carolinians from every county and community pulling together to do the hard work that matters. North Carolinians willing to fight as hard for total strangers as they are for their own family.

I’m really thankful to have been part of a team like that, and I’m thankful to you for being part of it, too.

Thanks for everything you do, John, and have a happy Thanksgiving!
