Tomorrow, Americans will gather alongside friends, family, neighbors, and loved ones to break bread and reflect upon the blessings that God has bestowed upon the entire country. We give thanks for the blessing of living in the greatest country in the world, for the freedoms that we are all fortunate to possess, and much, much more. During this time, we will also pause and give thanks for the brave patriots – the men and women of the armed forces – who, at home and abroad, continue to stand watch and defend us around the clock. As I have said before, Thanksgiving is a day that is emblematic of everything that makes America great.

Today, and every day, I remain immensely grateful to serve as your voice in the People’s House, and to stand for our shared values and ideals. It is the greatest honor of my life to do so, and you can always rest assured that my work in serving you will continue without delay or compromise.
