Dear friend,
If you have been on our team for a while, you probably know that Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. Every year, at this time, I’m reminded of Connecticut Governor Wilbur Cross’ 1936 Thanksgiving Proclamation. Indeed, we’ve come “by a way that we did not know to the end of another year.”
After what has turned out to be a challenging, surprising year, I’m glad to have come this way with you.
Your dedication and unwavering support during this cycle were a blessing that I will never forget. Not only did you step up for races up and down the ballot, you helped my team earn some of the highest votes of any Democratic candidate facing opposition in PA. That’s a really big deal — especially in this difficult cycle — and it speaks to the care and commitment of this community we’ve built together. Thank you. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve in Congress.
This Thanksgiving, and every day, I’m most thankful for the people in my life, from my husband, sons and daughters-in-law, and our grandchildren – to our broader family, friends, and community.
To my constituents and supporters – I count you among my many blessings. Thank you for your support and confidence in me.
Now I hope you can take some time this weekend to rest and celebrate your blessings, your family, and your community. Feel the light we carry together and remember what we’re fighting for — who we’re fighting for — as we head into the coming year.
From my family and me, I wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
Warmly and sincerely,
Madeleine
