J Street

Friends,

Adina here, J Street’s Vice President and Chief of Staff.

As we gather with family and friends for Thanksgiving, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support.

It means so much to have you with us – especially through an unfathomably painful year and as we ready ourselves for a challenging four years to come.

It means a lot personally as well. I’m not sure how I would have survived this past year without this community and the compassion, humanity and drive we share.

A community that stands with those on the ground fighting for a better future – from hostage families to Israeli and Palestinian peace advocates to pro-democracy and anti-occupation protesters.

A community that knows there’s a better path and shares my feelings that our own government could be doing even more to change course – especially as we stare down the barrel of another Trump presidency.

You sustain our ongoing efforts to push harder still for President Biden to redefine his legacy, give meaning to his words and take steps that will have a lasting impact even after Trump takes office. And you’re fueling our fight into the future, as we take on the Trump-Netanyahu agenda and press for stiffer spines within the Democratic Party to ensure the failures of the past can never be repeated.

I’m so deeply thankful to have you with us. This work is truly not possible without you.

Wishing you a meaningful and joyous Thanksgiving with those you hold dear.

Yours,

Adina Vogel Ayalon
Vice President and Chief of Staff, J Street
