Elon Musk (CEO of SpaceX and Tesla) and Vivek Ramaswamy (former presidential candidate) publicly stated they want to pull federal funding from America’s biggest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood.

I am encouraged by this while recognizing the fact that disentangling Planned Parenthood from government support will take bold and intense commitment. The abortion corporation received $699 million dollars from taxpayers in the last reported year and has received billions of dollars from the government over the past few decades.

Based on reporting from its 2022-2023 annual report, Planned Parenthood killed approximately 1,076 preborn babies every day, 45 every hour, and one every 80 seconds.

Its annual killing rate has increased by 20,000 since the previous reported year.

The fact that more national leaders are recognizing our taxpayer dollars should not go to such an evil corporation is surely due to the persistent activism of pro-life work to expose the horrific truth about Planned Parenthood.

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Musk and Ramaswamy to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a new government agency that aims to reduce waste and spending.

It was in an op-ed written by Elon and Vivek, recently published by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), that they said:

“…DOGE will help end federal overspending by taking aim at the $500 billion plus in annual federal expenditures that are unauthorized by Congress or being used in ways that Congress never intended, from $535 million a year to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and $1.5 billion for grants to international organizations to nearly $300 million to progressive groups like Planned Parenthood.”

This is incredibly hopeful news, John, but it’s not final.

Defunding Planned Parenthood will require more than DOGE’s involvement. We need the HHS leadership (recently selected Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.) to get on board, as well as obvious leadership such as President-elect Donald Trump. Musk, Ramaswamy, Kennedy, and Trump need to hear affirmation from the American people. They need to know we wholeheartedly support the defunding of Planned Parenthood ([link removed] ) !

Everyone needs to know: Over 1,000 abortions take place via Planned Parenthood every day in America. 1,000 children gone, forever, under the sickening guise of “care, no matter what.”

We must put an end to this atrocity, beginning with the removal of federal funding.
