Dear Mr. John xxxxxx,

This Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Serving you as your Congresswoman is a true honor, and I’m grateful for the chance to work every day to make life better for our community. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the good in our lives, even as we face challenges. I’m proud of our strength and unity in Florida’s 20th District.

As you gather with family and friends this holiday season, consider those who may be struggling. Food insecurity is increasing in Florida. Nearly 2.94 million people, including 819,940 children, are facing hunger in the state. This means that 1 in 8 residents are affected.

Right here in our district, our seniors are being forced to decide between buying groceries or medication. We must do more.

Looking ahead, I remain committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to you: affordable housing, quality healthcare, better jobs, and justice for all. Everyone deserves to live with dignity, and it is my duty to ensure I deliver this promise. But we must also take care of each other. A simple act of kindness, like donating to a local food pantry or volunteering to deliver food to our seniors, can make a big difference.

From my family to yours, I wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving filled with love
and gratitude.

And remember, Medicare open enrollment is happening now through December 7th. If you or a loved one rely on Medicare, this is the time to review your coverage and adjust it to fit your needs for the upcoming year.

Sincerely,
