 Dear Neighbor,
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I hope you are planning to spend quality time with loved ones this holiday as we give thanks for all the blessings in our lives.
As we celebrate, please keep our first responders, law enforcement officers and members of our armed forces in mind, especially those who will be on duty away from home. Let’s be mindful of their selfless service and sacrifice.
Also, please take time to think about those who are less fortunate and contribute to charitable organizations as you are able. Our food shelves tend to see increased demand this time of year, for example.
We will get into legislative issues next time; there certainly is a lot to talk about. Until then, please have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
