Mitch McConnell thinks that the COVID-19 pandemic is the perfect time to start taking rights away from workers.

Yup, you heard that right, John.

Mitch McConnell is saying that before we give a dime of much-needed relief to communities in peril because of COVID-19, Congress must first give broad immunity to giant corporations who may potentially put Americans in harm’s way.

Will you add your name to Matt’s petition calling for the protection of rights for workers -- and for Main Street to come before big business and Wall Street? [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]

John -- If Mitch McConnell has his way, it will become impossible for workers to hold their employers accountable for providing safe working conditions . If employees are put in harm's way by corporations that fail to take precautions to keep them safe, they would no longer be able to have their day in court. Big business would be immune from ever being accountable for negligence.

This would include the essential workers who have been putting their safety on the line to keep our shelves stocked, packages delivered, water running, medical facilities open, and so much more. Their rights to hold their employer accountable would be gone.

Matt has been spending this crisis advocating for everyday people. From fighting to get hazard pay to our essential workers, to pushing for another round of direct cash relief to Americans, Matt is on the side of Main Street -- not Wall Street.

Will you join him in standing with workers by signing his petition demanding that we protect workers’ rights and not give broad, unchecked immunity to corporations? [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]

Thank you
