Working people pay into Social Security and Medicare with every paycheck. But millionaires stop paying around Valentine’s Day.

But that’s not the only way the rich are stiffing the rest of us. There are plenty of loopholes for tax avoidance in our laws, but the biggest one of all is the IRS itself.

Decades of underfunding and PR attacks from members of both parties left the IRS unable to perform basic tasks like ensuring that taxes that are owed by the ultra-wealthy are paid. The Inflation Reduction Act provided additional funding to the IRS, and every $1 in additional funding yielded $9 in recovered funds from wealthy tax cheats!

Now, Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies want to go back to cheating on their taxes and getting away with it. We can’t let that happen!

Tell Congress: Don't cut IRS funding in the end-of-year government funding bill. Stop wealthy tax cheats from evading what they owe.
