Friend,
Thanksgiving is a time to spend with loved ones and reflect on the many blessings we have in our lives. This Thanksgiving, I am blessed to spend time with my husband, Matt, and our two incredible boys, Max and Jax. My family is the most important thing in the world to me, and I’m grateful that they are happy and healthy. They are my ‘why’ and the reason I am fighting for a better future for the next generation of Americans.
Representing Iowans is the honor of my life and I am grateful that you have put your trust in me to continue to serve you for two more years. I am grateful to have the opportunity to meet with Iowans across the district, hear their stories, and advocate on their behalf in Congress.
Despite the division and disagreements we may face, we must never forget how fortunate we are to live in the greatest country in the world and enjoy our freedoms as Americans. However, the freedoms we enjoy every day are not free. We are only free because of our brave service members who sacrifice time with their families so that we can be with ours. To the families in Iowa and across the nation who may be missing their loved ones at the table this Thanksgiving – thank you. We are forever indebted to you and grateful for your sacrifice.
During the holiday season, I hope you are able to spend quality time with loved ones and remember that there is so much more that unites us than divides us as Americans. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve you and believe the best is yet to come for our state and country.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Best,
