Fellow activist,
Before you log off, we wanted to send you a quick note to express our deep gratitude for your support.
Thanks to you, we’ve made incredible strides in providing year-round voter registration, civic education and mobilization across Pennsylvania to build long-term power within the communities we center – historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth. The results of the 2024 General Election underscored the importance of year-round and consistent voter engagement.
In 2022, our first full year in operation on the ground, the New Pennsylvania Project (NPP), along with the affiliated organization, New PA Project Education Fund (NPPEF), helped more than 20,000 Pennsylvanians register to vote and mobilized many of those newly registered voters to the polls. NPP helped flip Pennsylvania's State House for the first time in over a decade and we celebrated Joanna McClinton becoming the first woman Speaker of the PA House. Since then, we have helped to protect that majority throughout several special elections.
Since 2021, both NPP & NPPEF have assisted more than 48,000 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote and making their voices heard at the ballot box.
We are taking the time to reflect on our work over the last three years and are grateful for the overwhelming support of donors like you who believe in our mission and are in this for the long run. We know our work continues and we hope you will recommit with us as we look towards 2025 and beyond. And we are just beginning to witness the enduring impact our work will have on Pennsylvania for generations to come.
Thank you so much for being a part of our movement.
Talk soon,
Team NPP
