Dear Friend,

This Thanksgiving, we pause to reflect on the values that define us as a nation—gratitude, resilience, and compassion. It is a time to give thanks for the blessings we have, but also to remember those for whom this season may be a time of challenge and uncertainty.

For 114 years, USCRI has stood as a steadfast ally for refugees and immigrants. Our commitment to those most vulnerable endures, driven by a shared belief that every person deserves the chance to live with dignity, safety, and freedom. As we look forward to the future, we do so with an unwavering commitment to continue being a source of hope, comfort, and strength for those who need it most.

With your help this year, countless lives have been saved, and hope and dignity have been restored to individuals who have suffered for too long. This year has been full of remarkable accomplishments we have not seen in USCRI’s history—we supported over 120,000 clients through our programming providing resettlement, health, and humanitarian legal services, and more to refugees, immigrants, unaccompanied minors, survivors of human trafficking, and others.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, let us express our gratitude for the opportunity to serve and uplift those in need, and recommit our mission of fostering a most just and inclusive world for all. Together, we can ensure that the promise of a brighter tomorrow remains within reach for every person, regardless of their journey.

Thank you for welcoming and comforting the world’s most vulnerable, and I wish you and your family a very warm and happy Thanksgiving holiday.

With much appreciation,
