Friends,

Thanksgiving is a perfect time to set aside and reflect upon the many blessings God has bestowed upon our families, communities and nation. While there are many challenges facing our country, it is my sincere hope Americans focus on what unites us over the petty politics of division. As I ponder America's future, I remain committed more than ever to ensure the next generation lives in a nation that is free, safe, and full of opportunity.

As Americans, we are united by our common values and in the belief that we're all created equal and endowed by our creator with inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In America, we are blessed to have the ability to work hard to achieve the American Dream, and enjoy our precious freedoms thanks to all our brave men and women in uniform who have fought bravely to defend them.

As my wife Desiree, our family, and I reflect on this Thanksgiving, we're grateful for our family, friends, and to live in the greatest country in the world. We also want to recognize our brave service members, first responders, and law enforcement who often sacrifice so much time with their families to ensure the safety and well being of ours. I pray you and your family have a joyful, healthy, and safe holiday.
