We’re so grateful you’re with us as we work to ensure access to abortion and contraception for all. We really couldn’t do it without you. And the impact we’re having is amazing!
We wanted you to be one of the first to see an overview of our impact in 2024 ([link removed]) . We’re proud to share that at more than 16,000 Ipas-supported health access points across 23 countries, the support of our donors and partners enabled 650,000 people to receive abortion care and 1.6 million people to receive contraception. That’s 2.2 million people who experienced bodily autonomy in 2024 alone.
Thanks to our supporters, our devoted staff around the world have the resources they need to ensure life-changing reproductive health care is available for those who need it most.
That includes staff like Dr. Celestine Buyibuyi (pictured above), a community engagement advisor for Ipas Democratic Republic of Congo, who says: “My motivation for doing this work is simple: When I see a woman suffering, I see myself suffering.” She and her team have set up mobile health clinics in refugee camps where violent conflict has forced countless people from their homes. The mobile clinics provide essential reproductive health care—including abortion—to thousands who need it.
That’s what we do every day: ensure people have the bodily autonomy they need to build the future they want for themselves and their loved ones. You can rest assured that no matter the recent U.S. election results and the challenges that lie ahead for reproductive rights globally, Ipas will continue our crucial work.
