Right now, with an outbreak within its own walls, the White House is requiring masks for its staff, implementing contact tracing best practices, and administering frequent tests.

This is the right thing to do for the safety of the many public servants who work at the White House. But it's also the right thing to do across the country. What is good for the White House is what is good for the American people. Comprehensive testing, face masks, and contact tracing need to become available for all workplaces, not just at the White House.

As parts of our country look to reopen, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has come up with detailed guidance for communities and workplaces. But incredibly, the Trump administration has prohibited the CDC from issuing that guidance and has allowed only a limited checklist to be released in its place. The Trump administration actually does know how to address coronavirus outbreaks. They're just not willing to do it for anyone outside the White House walls.

Sign your name here to demand that the Trump administration make testing, contact tracing, and CDC recommendations available to the whole country -- because the public deserves the same health considerations that President Trump gets in his own workplace.
