 Dear Neighbors,
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and it is always a meaningful time of year for us all to pause and give thanks for God’s many blessings in our lives.
I’m thankful for the family, friends, and neighbors who bring so much joy to my life every day.
I’m thankful for the brave men, women, and their families that have sacrificed so much to protect America.
Finally, I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve you and your family at the Capitol. The trust and responsibility you have placed in me to represent our communities is a duty that I do not take lightly.
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
Update from St. Paul
With the 2024 election in the rear-view mirror, I wanted to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude for the trust you have placed in me to continue representing our communities in St. Paul.
The Minnesota House of Representatives is heading into the 2025 legislative session tied 67-67—meaning that neither Democrats nor Republicans will have an outright majority.
November’s results mean that the Democrat Trifecta in Minnesota is officially over and a new era of divided government in St. Paul is upon us. It also means that more voices will be heard loud and clear at the capitol as lawmakers from both parties will be forced to work together on legislation.
Stay tuned for more information on this as the power sharing agreement between House Democrats and Republicans is still being negotiated.
In the meantime, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy time spent with friends and family.
Lord's Blessings,
Jeff
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.- Colossians 4:2
