Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) stands firm in defending press freedom, regardless of who is in power. A second Trump presidency poses a severe threat to a free press, but this isn't just a Trump issue. Politicians from both parties spent the last four years interfering with the strength of our press, from ill-advised prosecutions of journalists to supporting bills that could be used to harass and surveil them.

No matter your political leanings, press freedom is essential to hold those in power accountable and ensure everyone has access to the truth. It transcends politics and brings us all together.
