I am devastated by this year’s election results and imagine many of you may feel the same way. Instead of celebrating our first woman president, we were catapulted back to 2016 when misogyny and hatred won the day. It is infuriating and depressing and hard to believe, all at once. But do you know what keeps me going? The strong feminists who surround me.

I am profoundly grateful for all the NOW supporters like you who are standing with me –– on the shoulders of those who fought before us and for us –– ready to face down the challenges ahead.

We have no intention of letting the election of Donald Trump take us back to the way things were in 1966, when NOW was founded to fight for women’s rights.
