Last week, I was on MSNBC to talk about the 2024 election results and how Pennsylvania House Democrats held on to our majority in the State House.
Our Democratic majority is made up of a diverse coalition, and representation is so important. We must reflect on what happened on November 5: This nation does not want a woman in charge. We need to have honest conversations about where we are as a nation with women — not just in politics, but in board rooms, corporate infrastructure, nonprofit leadership, and more. Women who are doing great jobs deserve to be promoted according to their worth and their value.
We’re happy, and we’re overjoyed, but of course, we’re fighting back. Despite what happened at the top of the ticket, the People’s House remains in our hands. Key to our success was meeting people where they are — on social media, in their mailboxes, at their doors. These efforts were fueled by grassroots supporters like you!
