Turning Point Action fined following CREW complaint

In a landmark win in the fight against dark money, the Federal Election Commission fined Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action $18,000 for failing to disclose its donors following a 2021 complaint filed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. The FEC found that Turning Point Action failed to disclose $33,795 in reportable contributions from donors who gave more than $200”

If you’ve never heard of them, they’re a dark money organization that supports MAGA Republicans with an extreme conservative agenda and were instrumental this past election cycle in Donald Trump’s victory.
Turning Point and their affiliated groups have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars cycle after cycle to win seats for the MAGA movement. The Federal Elections Commission fined the organization this year for failing to disclose its donors.
