JOHN, we know it looks like a turkey, but it’s actually a Gunnison
sage-grouse—a native (and yes, kind of goofy-looking) bird here in Colorado.

Believe it or not, this little bird has been personally attacked by Lauren
Boebert.

Coloradans are steadfast in standing up for our precious public lands and
wildlife, but the 4th Districts new representative, Lauren Boebert, called the
bird “ugly” and derided a plan to conserve lands critical to its survival.

Here’s the kicker: the conservation plan Boebert’s complaining about was
actually approved in 2020 under Donald Trump’s administration—not Biden or
Harris, as she claims.

But facts rarely get in the way of Boebert’s feelings.

She’s railing against efforts to protect wildlife, attacking conservation
efforts, and siding with her oil and gas donors while ignoring the needs of her
constituents.

We know Colorado expects more from their leadership.
