I can’t begin to express how much I appreciate your support of this campaign. Everyday Nebraskans came together to help us build this movement, and we inspired so many. We did things our own way. We invested our time and resources into speaking with folks all across our state. Lifting your voices through this campaign has been the honor of my life.

I am so thankful for my strong, woman-led team, an incredible spouse, supportive family and friends, truly amazing advisers, and of course all of you, my most loyal supporters. With your help, we earned 35,550 votes and won 24 counties, all rural aside from Lancaster. We did this with about $15,000 (that’s less than 50 cents a voter), and an all volunteer team!
I am an outspoken pro choice, atheist, from a low income family with no previous elected positions who ran on progressive values. I never avoided a question or hid what I believe. I was a progressive candidate (the farthest left) in a crowded race, and we still took 23 rural counties. I'm so incredibly proud of these accomplishments!

Rest assured this is not goodbye. I will continue to fiercely advocate for the needs of our communities. I look forward to serving the people of Nebraska in whatever form that looks like in the future.

Now is the time to keep our eye on the prize and remain focused on the goal of unseating Ben Sasse.
So, we hold on to hope and move forward. Together we will continue to build a Nebraska for everyone.
