| BREAKING NEWS From the White House |
|  | Today, the Biden Administration proposed a groundbreaking rule to expand Medicare and Medicaid coverage for obesity medications, making life-changing treatments more accessible to millions. This milestone reflects growing recognition of obesity as a chronic disease and marks significant progress in improving access to affordable obesity care. This success wouldn't have been possible without OAC supporters and advocates! In May, the OAC united 57 organizations and more than 1,500 advocates to urge the Biden Administration to prioritize comprehensive obesity care. Together with our members, we sent more than 5,500 letters to make our voices heard — and this new rule is a direct result of those efforts!
