Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I wish blessings and safe travels to you as we gather with family, friends, and loved ones to make memories while celebrating Thanksgiving this week. We give thanks to the Lord from whom all blessing flow as the author of all liberty and we also give thanks for the many opportunities we have to bless others.

I'm truly honored to serve as State Senator working hard for our Constitutional values and priorities in the ongoing battle for truth and I'm also thankful for our great community filled with warm kindness, friendly neighbors, great schools, and strong businesses, even through difficult times!

May this Thanksgiving be a time of joy, reflection, and connection with those who matter most.

Again, Happy Thanksgiving and have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Sen. Lucero with Otsego constituent Roxanne. Sen. Lucero is Vice-Chair of the Work Group on Cics and HOAs, and Roxanne gave her testimony before the workgroup Tuesday this week at the Capital to highlight her first-hand experience with abuses and conflicts of interest stemming from HOAs.

Recent News and Events

Minneapolis restaurant owners are actively weighing relocating out of Minneapolis due to rising costs and regulations. In defiant response, Minneapolis Democrats recently passed a new labor board ordnance further crushing restaurants / businesses with even more crippling costs and regulations. Mayor Frey vetoed the ordinance, but his veto is expected to be overridden by the council.

Financial aid for legal students and citizens is cut as a result of the grant program shortfall:

  • "students' financial aid awards reduced at last minute"
  • ”detrimental to low and middle income students”
  • "The neediest students ... negatively impacted by this"

Last year, Democrats and Gov. Walz passed law forcing taxpayer-funded free college tuition for illegal foreign nationals.

The unprotected border by Democrats is contributing to the drugs and other crime harming neighborhoods across our great state and country.

Minnesota leads the nation in voter turnout.

In 2023:

  • Democrats pass law passing out driver licenses to illegals
  • Democrats pass law automatically registering to vote everyone with a driver license

Democrats let Minneapolis burn + Democrats let violent crime surge + people and businesses flee + commercial property values plunge

= MASSIVE TAX HIKES ON HOMES DUE TO DEMOCRAT FAILURES

Biased liberals in Minnesota local media try to distract from the pain inflicted by their Democrat accomplices by comparing Minneapolis to other major cities. However, nearly every “major U.S. city” experiencing property tax increases are also run by Democrats.

The pollsters were way wrong, not just her.
