I wanted to extend a note of gratitude to you, John. Through all the ups and downs this past year, you continued to take action to fight for what matters most: safe food, clean water, and a livable climate. Whether you signed petitions, sent emails and texts to your elected representatives, made calls to congressional leaders, or donated to help power the fight for our food, water, and planet, you made a difference and never gave up. We’ve accomplished some big victories this year, and we know that these wins wouldn’t be possible without people like YOU. Thanks to our members and supporters, we’ve: – Won the first-ever regulations on toxic PFAS chemicals in drinking water. – Pushed the EPA to propose new water pollution control standards for livestock slaughterhouses and rendering facilities. – Successfully pressured Governor Newsom to phase out fracking in California. – Worked in coalition with our allies to pass two major pieces of climate legislation in New York state — the Climate Change Superfund Act and a CO2 fracking ban — both of which are now awaiting Governor Hochul’s signature. And this is just a partial list! Thank you for your ongoing commitment and for trusting Food & Water Watch to get the job done. I'm immensely grateful to have fought alongside you this past year to protect our communities and our planet. Keep making your voice heard, John. Onward together,
