My siblings, cousins, and I were the first to be born into the Abrams family with the right to vote.

My nieces and nephews, the oldest of whom is 18, live in the first generation since Reconstruction to lose civil rights. Our fight for basic rights is generational and enduring. It is never over.

Yes, we lost this election, and it hurts. But, we exist between elections, and the fight continues.

We exist between the harms and we are responsible for making the change we want to see.

We can come together to build the world we deserve by being curious, by solving problems, and by doing good, even when it hurts, even when it's hard.

That’s the work Speak Up PAC will do in 2025 and beyond, because just because we lost one election doesn’t mean there aren’t wins and hope and steps forward ahead.
