Dear John,
In the nearly three decades that I was undocumented, the challenges that come with uncertainty, fear, and political shifts — especially those that threaten our communities — are no longer new to me. With every headline or change in policy and politics, I am reminded of all the ways we come out stronger together. It is our collective fighting spirit and never-faltering determination to persist that continuously gives strength to the work that we do here at Immigrants Rising.
