A new Post-Ipsos poll shows 56% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s pandemic response, while just 43% approve.
That means most Americans don’t buy Trump’s lies about America’s response being the best in the world, don’t believe Trump’s false claims about his making testing universally available, and don’t accept Trump’s rhetoric that they are “warriors” who must risk their lives to support Trump’s re-election chances.
But 43% of Americans do. Those are his core supporters, and it looks like they’re not going anywhere.
