Dear John,

For millions of animals, sudden death comes in the form of a collision with a car or train. Highways, railways, and motorized trails disrupt their search for food, water, and mates, threatening their survival and the integrity of Wildways across North America.

Wildlands Network envisions a continent where wildlife-friendly, climate-resilient crossings minimize these barriers, giving save passage to wildlife and drivers. These simple yet effective engineering solutions can reduce wildlife deaths by up to 90%.

This Thanksgiving, we are grateful for dedicated supporters like you. Thanks to you, we’ve made remarkable progress:

  • Helped secure $408 million in public funding for wildlife crossings.

  • Supported applications for 25 priority projects for funding from the U.S. Wildlife Crossing Pilot Program.

  • Collected over a million animal photos and GPS points to guide mitigation.

Together, we can achieve transformative outcomes by 2030!

  • Securing $1 Billion in Public Funding committed to designing, planning and constructing wildlife crossing structures.

  • Completion of plans for 25 Wildlife Crossings within Wildways, creating safe passage for wildlife across critical biodiversity hotspots.

As we give thanks this season, we invite you to join us next week for Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. And thanks to the Biophilia Foundation, your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.

For the wild,

Your support makes a difference.
