Dear Fellow American,

Imagine, for a moment, a society where expressing your faith is met with
threats, fines, or even court cases?

Sounds far-fetched, doesn't it?

Well, it's happened with…

Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop. He was first sued for declining
to create a custom cake celebrating a same-sex wedding because it violated his
religious beliefs.

Bethel Christian Academy. The state government revoked a church-run school's
eligibility to participate in a voucher program to benefit low-income students
and demanded the school pay back thousands of dollars for previous
participation in the program because of the school's beliefs about marriage and
sexuality.

Yakima Union Gospel Mission. Washington law prohibits the Mission from hiring
only those employees who share and live out the Mission's Christian beliefs.

Government officials are jeopardizing your religious liberties. In more and
more settings, Christians and other citizens are fired, publicly shamed, and
even sued for their faith.

It's no wonder we receive thousands of legal requests each year, including
from many individuals who say the government is threatening their freedoms,
like the right to exercise their religious beliefs.
