Elon Musk’s plans to shape the second Trump administration are coming into focus:

The Washington Post just reported that Musk wants to fire hundreds of thousands of government employees and replace them with “advanced technology.”[1] Musk fired 80% of the staff when he took over Twitter.

This could mean that Musk wants to close four out of every five Social Security offices, and replace the experienced, knowledgeable Social Security workers with Grok AI chatbots.

Even worse, Musk and Trump are looking to do this unilaterally, without a fight in Congress.
