Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd for our annual Giving Tuesday campaign. This year, YIMBY Action endorsed over 200 pro-housing candidates in elections across the US, winning over 158 races! But our work is just beginning.
Now that we’ve won dozens of races across the country, we’ll work hand-in-hand and increase our efforts to ensure these politicians follow through on the promise of allowing more housing. Our policy platform includes solutions from eliminating zoning laws that stop the construction of apartments and duplexes to increasing funding for subsidized housing and Section 8.
We need a lot more housing in our communities across the country, and electing these YIMBY-endorsed candidates was a big step toward that goal. We will fight until every person in the United States has a safe, stable, affordable home in a neighborhood they want to live in.
