Limited time match for Giving Tuesday (all gifts doubled)

Spanning over 2,650 miles from Canada to Mexico, the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) winds through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the western United States. Traversing 26 national forests and seven national parks, the PCT connects hikers to diverse terrain and communities across three states—Washington, Oregon, and California.

The challenge: only 90 percent of the trail sits on public land. That leaves 200,000 acres along the PCT still in need of protection.

This is where you come in, Friend. Without urgent action, parts of this iconic trail, which tend to be in less affluent communities, could be lost to development or environmental threats.

Your gift today will help TPL work to protect the Pacific Crest Trail and expand access to communities that currently have limited connection to publicly protected and cared-for land.

For more than two decades, Trust for Public Land has been working to protect the Pacific Crest Trail, preserving over 50,000 acres along its route. But there's still so much more to do and it's not just the PCT that needs protection.

Across the country, trails long and short serve as lifelines for communities. These spaces aren't just beautiful—they're essential. These are places where families connect with nature, where kids play, and where we all recharge, but without protection, they could be lost.

When you give early, your Giving Tuesday gift will be doubled, giving 2X the protection to trails and green spaces that matter most. But time is running out—this match won’t last forever!

YOUR $100 = $200
YOUR $50 = $100
YOUR $35 = $70
GIVE ANY AMOUNT = MATCHED

With your support, we’ll continue to safeguard these vital lands, ensuring trails like the Pacific Crest Trail remain open, accessible, and protected for everyone to enjoy.

Act now, and your gift will go twice as far.

Thank you for being a champion for the outdoors.
