Speak out against six LNG projects that Biden can stop right now
Hi—
Did you see this email from Mattea? With so much uncertainty ahead of us, there is one thing we can do right now to listen to communities that will be severely impacted by an incoming Trump presidency—and that's calling on President Biden to reject six super-polluting gas projects before the end of his term.
A new analysis on the environmental and economic impacts of liquefied "natural" gas (LNG) is expected to drop any day now, and we've already rallied 43,009 Evergreen advocates to sign our letter to President Biden. But your name is still missing, {First Name}—will you take a minute to sign on?

Subject: Act not to Trump-proof climate progress
Hi there,
I know these are difficult times, and I hope you're doing what you need to take care of yourself and your community. I hope you can take one minute right now to help with the urgent work of Trump-proofing some critical climate progress.
Now that we're just two months away from handing over the keys to a fascist who believes the climate crisis is a "hoax," President Biden must act fast to cement his strong climate legacy.
Number one on his to-do list should be working with the Department of Energy (DOE) to conclusively determine that liquefied "natural" gas (LNG) exports are not in the public interest and quickly denying six pending export authorizations for six super-polluting gas projects that would poison frontline communities.
Send a message to President Biden right now to stop these six super polluter projects while we still can.
We know that LNG presents a massive threat to our climate, public health, and economy. Just last month, over half a million people submitted comments to DOE, asking for an end to LNG expansion, which sacrifices our collective future in favor of the short-term profits for a select few.
Throughout his presidency, President Biden has shown his willingness to listen to the people most affected and knowledgeable when making policy decisions—whether they are scientists, frontline and environmental justice leaders, or healthcare professionals. As he closes out his term, he should heed the will of the country and do what's best to secure wins for the long haul—regardless of who is in office.
The task of preserving our democracy, values, and a safer climate future from a Trump administration will no doubt be challenging and will require a movement-wide effort that goes beyond these next few months. But President Biden can set the stage to help us succeed if we get loud enough. Tell him to finish the job ASAP on LNG.
Thanks for raising your voice in this critical moment,
