Every great writer starts somewhere — and you can help them begin.

Write Field, one of Poynter's proudest programs, empowers Black and Hispanic students to become more confident writers. Originally designed for young men, Write Field is expanding to warmly welcome all genders in 2025.

This yearlong, tuition-free initiative isn't just about writing; it's about showing students that their voices matter and that their dreams are worth pursuing. This holiday season is your chance to be part of this impact ([link removed]) .
