Our historic LGBTQ+ officials are under attack on Capitol Hill. Congresswoman-elect Sarah McBride, the first out trans person to join Congress, is facing a barrage of anti-trans hate and hysteria over something as basic as which restroom she'll use. Bigoted Rep. Nancy Mace even said she was "absolutely" targeting Sarah!

And Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine is being targeted with vicious deep fake videos claiming she's practicing witchcraft in the woods. Transphobic politicians have called her a "groomer" and a "pedophile" simply because she's trans. It's unacceptable!

John, it's up to us to stand against this hate. And more importantly, we must push harder than ever to ensure that trans and LGBTQ+ voices are heard at the tables of power. We cannot let Sarah McBride and Dr. Levine serve alone - we have to send them reinforcements! Rush a donation before Giving Tuesday to ensure we hit our goal and help take back our government!

As part of our David Mixner Political Appointments Program, we urged the Biden Administration to nominate Dr. Levine to HHS. We worked overtime to rally allied and LGBTQ+ organizations during her confirmation process, and we held Senator Rand Paul accountable when he went on an unhinged rant during Dr. Levine's confirmation process. When Sarah attended our Candidate & Campaign Training program, she built the toolkit she needed to run for office - and win!

Our programs and trainings are designed to help LGBTQ+ leaders succeed in government, and we can't afford to rest. We know the next few years are going to be tough. We know bigots like Nancy Mace and Rand Paul think they can target our community, call us awful names and strip away our rights. But we can't let that happen, John.
