November 20, 2024 - Wolverine Packing Co., a Detroit, Mich. establishment, is recalling approximately 167,277 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.

The fresh products have a “use by” date of 11/14/2024 and the frozen products are labeled with production date 10/22/24.

Gaines Pet Treats LLC Issues Recall

November 22, 2024 - Gaines Pet Treats LLC,of Birmingham, AL is voluntarily recalling 204, 5-ounce bags of "Gaines Family Farmstead Chicken Chips" treats for dogs due to the possibility of Salmonella contamination.

The product comes in a 5-ounce bag marked on the back side with lot number 20061124 and an expiration date of 12/11/25.

Yu Shang Food, Inc. Issues Recall

November 22, 2024 - Yu Shang Food, Inc., a Spartanburg, SC, establishment, is recalling approximately 72,240 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) meat and poultry products within their shelf life that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-46684” or “EST. M46684” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide and available for purchase online.

November 22, 2024 - Grimmway Farms of Bakersfield, CA announced the addition of four bag sizes of organic whole carrots to its November 16, 2024, recall. All dates associated with the recall remain unchanged.

These products may have been contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) O121:H19.

Carolina Prime Pet, Inc. Issues Recall

November 23, 2024 - Carolina Prime Pet, Inc. of Lenoir, NC, is recalling 400 16-ounce bags of "Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips" treats for dogs because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The product comes in a 16-ounce purple-and-black bag marked on the back side with lot number 20051324L2 and an expiration date of 11/13/25.  This is the only lot number identified as potentially contaminated.
