Special Counsel Jack Smith Files to Dismiss Charges Against Trump
CBS: Special counsel Jack Smith asked a federal district court in Washington on Monday to dismiss the case against President-elect Donald Trump stemming from an alleged scheme to subvert the transfer of power after the 2020 election, bringing to a close the historic and unprecedented prosecution of the nation’s 45th and 47th president. In newly filed court documents, federal prosecutors working in Smith’s office told U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan that they are seeking to close Trump’s case because Justice Department policy forbids the prosecution of a sitting president ( CBS). Greg Price: Jack Smith just filed a motion to dismiss his bogus charges against President Trump. Total Democrat lawfare fail ( X). RNC Research: Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman immediately went on CNN to cry about the special counsel moving to dismiss all charges against President Trump in the Biden-Harris administration’s witch hunt ( X).

Kamala Harris Ponders Her Political Future
Washington Examiner: Vice President Kamala Harris has spent much of the past week in Hawaii after losing the presidential election earlier this month and is possibly laying the groundwork for a political comeback. Harris has told allies and friends that she is “staying in the fight” and is keeping open the possibility of running for governor of California in 2026 or president in 2028. The outgoing vice president is set to use the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season to decide on her next steps, beginning with her escape from Washington, D.C., to the Aloha State this past week. The report also claims she will speak out against President-elect Donald Trump, who defeated her in all seven swing states in the election less than three weeks ago, and reaffirm herself as the Democratic Party’s leader. Harris will still have two public events before she leaves the Naval Observatory on Jan. 20, 2025. She will oversee the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6, which will affirm her loss to Trump, along with her departure from the vice presidency on Jan. 20 ( Washington Examiner). Politico: The good news for Harris, according to her allies, is that her standing in the party increased the longer that she ran her short campaign, which is rare in electoral politics. Her allies believe that the toxicity that surrounded John Kerry or Hillary Clinton after their losses is unlikely to taint Harris’ political future in the same way ( Politico).

NATO Leader Warns Businesses to Prepare for a “Wartime scenario”
New York Post: The chair of NATO’s military committee warned business leaders to prepare for a “wartime scenario” and bring their production lines back home, rather than relying on China or Russia, to avoid blackmail or sabotage — as former and future US President Donald Trump has vowed to restore his “America First” agenda. Speaking at an event Monday for the European Policy Centre think tank, Dutch Adm. Rob Bauer said instability in global politics could leave businesses at the mercy of foreign governments, especially if war were to break out. “Businesses need to be prepared for a wartime scenario and adjust their production and distribution lines accordingly,” Bauer said. “Because while it may be the military who wins battles, it’s the economies that win wars” ( New York Post). Because while it may be the military who wins battles, it’s the economies that win wars” ( X). Eric Daugherty: NATO official says business should prepare for “wartime scenario” – Reuters. Trump Promises to Utilize Tariffs to Put America’s Needs First
CNBC: President-elect Donald Trump plans to raise tariffs by an additional 10% on all Chinese goods coming into the U.S., according to a post Monday on his social media platform Truth Social. The post immediately followed one in which Trump said his first of “many” executive orders on Jan. 20 would impose tariffs of 25% on all products from Mexico and Canada ( CNBC). Bill Ackman: To be clear, according to Trump the 25% tariffs will not be implemented, or if implemented will be removed, once Mexico and Canada stop the flow of illegal immigrants and fentanyl into the U.S. In other words, Donald Trump is going to use tariffs as a weapon to achieve economic and political outcomes which are in the best interest of America, fulfilling his America first policy. This is a great way for Trump to effect foreign policy changes even before he takes office ( X).

UAE Releases More Information on the Uzbek Nationals in Murder of Jewish Rabbi
Wall Street Journal: The United Arab Emirates named three Uzbek nationals as suspects in the killing of a Jewish community leader in the Gulf state, an incident that has raised concerns about security for Jews in the Arab world. Israel described the killing of Israeli-Moldovan citizen Zvi Kogan, whose body was found Sunday, as an “act of antisemitic terrorism.” The 28-year-old was an emissary of the Jewish Chabad movement to Abu Dhabi, where he lived with his wife. Emirati authorities said Sunday that three individuals had been arrested in connection with Kogan’s death… Emirati authorities said they had begun a legal process to charge the individuals. The U.A.E. statement included pictures of the suspects in handcuffs and blue prison clothes, their faces each covered by a black mask ( Wall Street Journal). Times of Israel: Officials suspect a number of Uzbek citizens recruited by Iran assaulted the rabbi and later fled to Turkey. The three suspects were not arrested in the UAE. The operation to find and arrest them spread across several countries ( Times of Israel).

Report Reveals DEI Increases Thoughts of Nonexistent Prejudice, Agreement with Hitler Rhetoric; Media Tries to Hide Study
National Review: A new study found that diversity, equity, and inclusion materials have a wide range of negative consequences, including psychological harm, increased hostility, and greater agreement with extreme authoritarian rhetoric, such as adapted Adolf Hitler quotes. Both the New York Times and Bloomberg prepared stories on the findings, but axed them just before publication citing editorial decisions. The Network Contagion Research Institute, or NCRI, and Rutgers University Social Perception Lab released the study “Instructing Animosity: How DEI Pedagogy Produces the Hostile Attribution Bias” on Monday. The study examined whether the themes and materials common in DEI trainings foster inclusion or exacerbate conflicts, and whether such materials promote empathy or increase hostility towards groups labeled as oppressors. The study consisted of three experiments — one focusing on race, one on religion, and the last on caste ( National Review). Writer Abigail Anthony: A new study found that DEI materials have a wide range of negative consequences, including psychological harm, increased hostility, and greater agreement with adapted Adolf Hitler quotes. The New York Times and Bloomberg axed articles on the study ( X). Michele Tafoya: “Both the NYTimes and Bloomberg prepared stories on the findings, but axed them just before publication.” Why ( X)?

Britain, France Consider Sending Troops to Fight in Ukraine
This would spark World War III. Daily Mail: Britain and France have not ruled out sending troops to Ukraine as part of a European coalition, French media has reported, amid fears that the war is edging closer to becoming an all-out conflict between Russia and NATO. Discussions on sending troops from Western armies and private defence companies have been ‘reactivated’, according to French daily newspaper Le Monde, months after President Macron faced opposition from Western leaders over the suggestion. The talks have also been revisited amid concerns that US support for Kyiv could be pulled by president-elect Donald Trump when he enters office on January 20, sources reportedly claimed ( Daily Mail). HotAir: Ukraine has been, so far, a proxy war on NATO’s side. Western countries have poured weapons and money into the country and backed Zelenskyy with just enough weapons to produce a stalemate that is bleeding both countries dry…This development is on top of the recently reported news that Biden is considering sending nuclear weapons to Ukraine in preparation for whatever cease-fire or peace deal Trump negotiates ( HotAir).

Geico Forces Employees to Conform to Gender Pronouns
MRCTv: November’s Presidential election proved the Era of Woke is rapidly dying. But our corporate and institutional overlords are desperately trying to keep it on life support. Geico is the latest company forcing their employees to undergo re-education. A company memo obtained by the X page, “Libs of Tik Tok” revealed Geico employees must complete a mandatory training course on gender ideology. In order to keep their jobs, workers are reportedly forced to introduce their pronouns to every customer they engage with. “I’m happy to help you today. I do want to let you know I use he/him pronouns. Let’s see about adding your new car to your policy,” read a sample scenario featured in the memo. The insurance company instructs employees to “correct” customers who dare to misgender them ( MRCTV). Libs of TikTok: Employees at Geico are being forced to complete mandatory training courses instructing them to provide their pronouns when engaging with customers and how to deal with being misgendered. Yet another company pushing gender ideology nonsense. We the people want this insanity to end ( X)!

VP Kamala Harris Paid $600 Million to Media Consulting Firms During Failed Campaign
Free Beacon: Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign directed nearly $600 million to just four media consulting firms with deep ties to the Democratic establishment, Federal Election Commission records show. The latest available FEC data show the Harris campaign exceeded $880 million in total spending as of October 16, though that number is expected to balloon to $1.5 billion after the Harris campaign files its post-election FEC report on December 5. Seventy percent of the campaign’s known total spending flowed through four firms: Media Buying & Analytics, Gambit Strategies, Bully Pulpit Interactive, and Dupont Circle Strategies. Together, these four Democratic firms were largely responsible for distributing Harris’s campaign messaging across the nation—an effort that ultimately saw Harris lose all seven swing states and the popular vote but directed huge sums of donor money the firms’ way ( Free Beacon).
