Assumed Into Heaven

 
Dear Friend,

Happy Solemnity of the Assumption!

Today you and I celebrate Our Lady, remembering that as the glorious Ark of the New Covenant, her intercession is greatly needed to defeat our culture of death.

You may know that the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament held the tablets of the Ten Commandments, the priestly rod of Aaron, and an urn containing manna. During the Battle of Jericho, the Israelites defeated God’s enemies by marching with the Ark for six days.

In the same way Our Lady, the New Ark, held God’s Word, the High Priest, the Bread from Heaven in her womb. Our Lord intends for us to work through his Blessed Mother to defeat our spiritual enemies.

Let us storm Heaven by praying her Holy Rosary today and every day. Nothing can be more important than this!
