Hi John

The population of Tema is 200,000 - and over 91,000 of them heard the gospel during our recent 10-day mission.

The mission began with teams of missioners serving the city with a clean-up of key areas, including the streets, the main market and local hospital.

Clean-up is important because we are committed to “evangelising the city through tangible actions that reflect our dedication to community well-being,” according to Ben Sachie, Director of AE Ghana.

A missioner on the ground in Tema shared this account on 29 October:

“One of the police officers assigned to escort our team became quite inspired by the effort. With a bright smile, she eagerly picked up one of the brooms and joined in, enthusiastically sweeping the area alongside us. Her determination to help added a sense of camaraderie and positivity to the entire event, showcasing a wonderful spirit of teamwork.”
