I have some bad news.
Last night was the deadline for our $50,000 mid-FEC goal and we fell short by $10,213. That doesn’t bode well for the second half of this quarter.
To make matters worse, Republicans will formally nominate Jason Lewis to face me in November at their state convention today. Once that happens, right-wing groups and super PACs could start dumping money into our race at any second.
From here on out, it’s a sprint to the general election. So, we decided to extend the deadline until tonight. Our team will now close the books on our fundraising numbers tonight, May 16th, at 11:59 p.m.
Can you add a $10 donation to help us raise the remaining $10,213 of our goal? We can't leave a single dollar on the table as we officially kick off this general election and close the books on our mid-FEC deadline.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I know this is no easy task, but the FEC filing deadline is next month, and we can’t fall behind at the halfway point — especially now that Lewis is officially our opponent.
Our campaign has seen real momentum these last few weeks, and we need to show everyone from our opponent to the press that our team can keep it up.
I've seen what this campaign is capable of, and that’s why I'm confident we can fill the gap in the next few hours if folks like you dig deep. Thanks!
